'Reflections' is the second innings for me, as the journey goes on.

I have pen down for you the truth as always. As you read, see from the eyes of my soul, the truth as lived.

Feel the soul as you turn the pages and see if you are a part of these reflections and images in the mirror as per the perceptions or are you the ones who are thriving on these reflections which live on in anonymity, in submission and in sacrifice.

We often hear that,"When we struggle against the natural rhythms of life, we create resistance and opposition and this is what leads to struggle."Life has many definitions to various people. Some people are ambitious and want to achieve as much as possible in their life and care little about others, on the other hand some people find their meaning of life in the happiness of others. If I think deeply about this, I can easily find the character of my mother which fits perfectly with the second type of people I've mentioned earlier. She is a living example for me.
As this book suggests a similar topic, I think "Reflections - a memoir of Dr. Ritu Deepak Sharma" is a common story of the people around the world. She shares the her journey of life. Here the author tells us about her aunt Kalpana.

Here the author tells us about her aunt Kalpana who sacrifices her health and dedicate her entire life to the person she cares about. And as we all know that the thing about health is if you don’t deal with it at the right time, it might get worse resulting in many other problems. What happened to her aunt?? What's the author perspective on this?? You need to read this beautiful book to find out the remnant to feel the roller coaster ride of emotions. This book also contains couple of beautifully written poems which I truly love. A well written comprehensive and of course inspiring book for all. I also love the simplicity in the writing process, it's teaches us a lot of life lessons to follow and nurture in us. A must read for all. Give it a try and you'll not regret for sure.

This book is all about women, from childhood to going to in-laws' house, what are the hardships she is going to face in her journey. In this book, the female lead will tell her journey of her life, and how she passed all the phases of life she met growing up. What it will be and how it will be and how as a woman she goes through her problems and all.
I like the storyline author did in this book and the reflections, and title of the book, which gave justice to the book. That's what the female leads tell about how she reflects in every situation of her life.
This story starts with her school life, when I was reading this phase, this reminded me of college life, I can relate to that because, when I went to college, I also felt like this, it's fearful of emotions in a new place right. And there is no one knows you and everyone will be stranger to us, we always have the fear to react for something right that's what she told in her school life after that college phase, job, marriage, husband in -was, I can feel because it's hard for her marriage life when your husband in his army when you need him he is not there with you, the feeling painful to her. So we can read about How the female lead gives and face these challenges in her life, there are many hardships she faced in her marriage life. My heart goes for her. While reading it, my eyes slightly got tears, such a meaningful and emotional read for me.

Reflections - a memoir of Ritu Deepak Sharma.
The journey of the author from her school days till date.
Self-depreciation is not everyone's cup of tea. The author handled it so well.
Although every middle-class Indian family faces the author's kind of life, it's important how you take it and what you have understood from the family life lessons.
Her aunt, Kalpana is a typical Indian woman who surrenders her entire life working for her loved ones and completely ignoring self-health which exists in many families. In many families, women die without care. Kalpana is lucky to have a lovely, strong daughter to take care of.
In my opinion, when you accept the circumstance and go ahead with your life, and do not complain about anything, people will think that you don't have any dreams/desires/purpose in life.
"Till my ice cream doesn't melt.." is quite significant. Life is always full of ups and downs. Ice cream always melts for everyone.
The author is quite brave to talk about her arrogance, understands only "ME" and her thoughtlessness about others' feelings in her profession.
This One - Mati: the end of the book - 'Life had to wait to be lived'.
Will leave you in tears.
A great read with lots of life lessons to be learned.

When an author starts reflecting on their life experiences, they become a medium of enlightenment and awareness for their readers. More so because they help the readers get acquainted with a world that may be unseen to them or may share details that may be relatable to the readers. This makes them connect instantly with the readers and have a talk from the heart to their hearts directly. Dr. Ritu Sharma, in her book, “Reflections: Parchaeeyan Perceptions,” connects with the readers through her reflections on the incidents that occurred in their life and how they have been instrumental in teaching her life lessons as well as shaping her personality.

This book by Dr. Ritu Sharma looks like a journal with anecdotes she has jotted down about the events happening in and around her life. The poems written in between are thought provoking and leaves you with a fresh perspective.

I personally loved reading about Geetika, her undying spirit and love for her mother is worth reading about.

It indeed feels good to read about the imperfections, because we are humans and perfection seems unreal.
