Liliana's Fan

Liliana had always been interested in exploring the forest near her home, but her parents had said that she was too young to venture there. Now, at twelve years of age, she believes that she is old enough to explore the mysteries of the forest. She feels confident that even if she goes alone, her bamboo fan that her mother gave her would help guide her. Then, she finds out that her mother is ill and has gone away to be treated. What has made her mother ill? Where is she currently being treated? What mysteries lie in the forest? Slowly, Liliana begins to uncover information, partly by discovering a magnificent and magical tree in the forest that she knows is the center of the mysteries. She also realizes that her fan plays an important role, but she is still unsure how. As her mother becomes more and more ill, Liliana must find out what ails her mother and possibly help heal her. She also wants to discover the mystery of her heritage, which is mixed into everything that is happeningBut time is running short.
