The moment I saw the page count I was like Yippppeeeee !
While the first two books were rather short and kind of a quick read, I was happy that this third part was super long. That meant super fun.
Duncan, I had been never so excited before to read about a character. His quiet, broody and all-serious character in the previous two books left me all intrigued and wanting to know more about him.
In this third inatallment, he certainly did not disappoint me. Though he wasn't as confident and bold as Lucian or as sweet and perfect as Ian, his flaws and insecurities couldn't help but draw you more towards him. Not to mention his sexy, charismatic, dark-and-dangerous personality.
Rose literally stole the spotlight in this story. She was a mature, calm and composed, open minded, brave, strong and fearless woman who was able to put up with Duncan's shit while at the same time fight for what she believed in. Her curious nature was both her weakness and strength but her quality to wear her heart on the sleeve was the best thing about her.
The story surely holds some heavy, intense and emotional scenes, especially where Duncan messes it all up. Patrice Michelle tried to bring something new into the world of Kendrian Vampires and though it was quiet entertaining, the dragged on plot quickly became boring too at times.
Overall it was a good time pass.

A Taste for Control is the third installment in the Kendrian Vampire series by Patrice Michelle. I have to say that this has been my favorite book so far in the series. Book one A Taste for Passion started out a little slowly for me, then things picked up speed and intricacy in book two. Book three really put the series on the map...

Though this can be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading the first two books to round out your reading pleasure.
I did enjoy this more than the others but that may have been due to the very interesting story with some new information being supplied.
Broody Duncan meets his match in red head Rose.
Duncan continually puts his foot in his mouth trying to assert his alpha ness in regards to Rose. Unfortunately for him, Rose is probably just as alpha with a few extras.
Sad what had happened to Ronin and I hope he gets a special someone.
Read through KU but I don’t believe there is a next book. Hopefully there will be one soon.

Book 3 has the perfect blend of romance, action, intensity, and Hotness that you need in a vampire romance book~~Duncan Mordoor a Hybrid vampire who can walk in the sun and has Vamp powers of mind-reading ability finds he doesn't like to be with humans and his kind stay away from him so he keeps him self away from everyone but when he meets Rose that all changes~He has to go find a human girl that's been kidnapped by one of his kind ~~Rose Sinclair a woman who has always kept in control and has kept emotions at bay but when an opportunity comes to help her fulfill her dream she takes it she goes on a search to learn about vampires but meets the wrong man(Vampire)who kidnaps her and wants her as a mate~~She finds her self running from the Vampire who took her to falling for the vampire who rescued her and it scares her to hell so she try's to fight the feelings for him ~~Exciting hot romance !!

I couldn't put them books down. I've read all 3 before but for some reason flying find them on my kindle s
o I brought them again and got was it worth it. I can't recommend this series enough. All three could be read as a stand alone but I'd recommend to read all 3. Great character's sexy funny alpha males. Strong women but with romance and a softer side. Brilliant stories action packed with great bedroom action too these books have everything else except a boring moment there's not one boring page. I really hope we get too read more with sabryn and marks stories

Loved all three books in this series but I have to admit that A taste for control was my favourite, the whole story had me totally captivated from the beginning right to the end. I sincerely hope that this is not the last book in this series as i would love to know what happens with at least another three of the characters In these books especially Nigel, Mark and Lucien's sister.

This is a awesome book, i love Duncan. If you love Lara Adrian you'll love this series, even though the series are alike in some ways they each have there own appeal, if you like romance, sex and HEA with lots of action and vampires, these are the books for you.

Awesomeness
I loved all the characters and I loved the way it unraveled as i went further in to the story. I loved the sensual part of it and the omg moments. I would most definitely read this again.

Although this title is part of a series, it reads very well as a stand alone. I did not read the first two and did not feel that anything was missing.

Different
Kind of long winded. A great story for sure but there were some parts I just couldn’t wrap my head around. A complete surprise because I loved A Taste For Revenge.
