Suzi Sung isn't an internationally renowned author or New York Times bestseller, she hasn't climbed Mount Everest, or saved kittens from a burning building... she didn't even graduate from university!
She's your everyday girl-next-door who has a knack for pulling people out of their moments of darkness and reminding them that, even though it rains, the sky is still blue above the clouds.
Really helpful tips on how to optimize your time and focus on what you want out of life. I will definitely be using the formula in my daily life to stay focused on my goals and what I want to achieve.
Basic info, but useful. if I could restart my self help journey this would have been a better first entry into the world of self help and eliminated many other books that are too wordy.
The Consistency Formula is a must-read for anyone that struggles with following through with tasks and goals. This book is a great read for anyone that has difficulty with completing activities and tasks. This book is an important read for anyone that struggles with procrastination. Many times, we try to be consistent with achieving goals and tasks, but we are not able to be consistent. This book breaks it down and says that what contributes to a lack is subconscious beliefs. As explained by Suzi Sung, all of our actions are based upon these beliefs. If we have the ability to change these beliefs, we can change our actions. In order to change our behaviors/actions, we need to step outside of our comfort zone. I highly recommend this book. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the advance review copy in exchange for my honest review.
Thank you NetGalley for the chance to read and review this book!
While there was nothing very different in this self help book, it wasn't badly written and didn't make me think that the author was a pretentious ass.
Important takeaways:
1. You're not supposed to let your mind stop you; don't think I never do this so why will I be able to do this now. 2. Get started ASAP 3. Break down the bigger elements into smaller doable plans
I also suspect, based on the authors amazon profile that this is one of those books you're supposed to write to try and get passive income by letting amazon do the work of shipping and distributing. I'm basing this off the neutral notebook series and the other books like 100 days of affirmations, heartbreak etc.
Perseverance towards a particular goal determines our success in long run.
The book throws light on the reason behind inconsistency and ways to overcome them. With some fantastic tips, the author provides various ways to kick off self doubt and procrastination. It provides readers with examples with a realistic approach that can save us at the nick of time.
The book has a list of transformative ideas with step by step process. More importantly this book provides the right tools to execute a plan.
The concepts given in the book are enlightening. One can definitely experience changes if followed sincerely. I'm highly impressed by the content and looking forward to implement them.
If you are looking to elevate your effectiveness, expand your sphere of influence or finally get strategy right- this book is for you.
This book will be a treat to someone who wants to stay focused with their goals and desperately wants to define success in their own terms.
I do have to admit that a lack of consistency is probably my biggest issue when it comes to achieving goals - so this book had huge appeal! And the advice is solid, and friendly and encouraging, and a decent read. There are, of course and alas in equal measure!, no magic formulae for success, but this might be a helpful little read anyway.
It has steps of how to realize when you are giving yourself ego excuses , self sabotage, and limitations. Comfort zone is also part of limitations, whenever you expand your bubble and achieve what you want, you have to keep going. When you become aware that YOU are not your thoughts, thats when you start seeing decisions you have made and take responsibility on it. THEN thats when your mind comprehends the true meaning of better decisions you have to make for yourself. All that knowledge will take you towards the consistency formula
The Consistency Formula by Suzi Sung Impressive little book with no unnecessary filler or Psychobabble.
