I recently finished Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award, and I am genuinely captivated by this complete collection! 🐺✨ Taryn’s story is a beautifully crafted journey of resilience, self-discovery, and unexpected love. 💖📖

From the moment she’s thrown into the shadowed depths of Siberia’s prison camp, Taryn’s strength begins to shine through despite her initial fear and uncertainty. 🌌 Her bond with the wolf-shifters is both tender and fierce, providing her with a sense of safety and belonging she’s longed for. The relationship development is heartfelt and authentic, truly pulling at the reader’s emotions. 💞🐺

What I found particularly inspiring is how Taryn embraces her curves and her femininity, proving that true strength comes in many forms. Her courage and kindness make her a heroine worth cheering for. 💃🏻❤️ The world-building is immersive, painting a vivid picture of the Siberian wilderness and the hidden dangers lurking within. The story’s twists and turns kept me thoroughly engaged, and the emotional depth adds layers of richness to the narrative. 🌙🗝️

Aidy Award masterfully combines elements of paranormal romance, action, and mystery, creating a story that is both intense and tender. This collection is a must-read for anyone who appreciates strong, feminine characters and compelling wolf-shifter lore. It’s a true testament to finding one’s identity and the power of love that refuses to be constrained by societal expectations. 💫

I also loved how the series ties into the larger Alpha Wolves Want Curves storyline, making it even more special for fans of the universe. The characters’ struggles and triumphs felt so real, and I found myself rooting for Taryn every step of the way. The blend of vulnerability and fierce protectiveness makes this story stand out and stay with you long after you’ve finished. 🌟

Overall, I give this collection a heartfelt four stars. It’s a beautifully written, emotionally resonant story that I will definitely revisit. Highly recommended for those who enjoy stories that celebrate courage, authenticity, and the magic of unexpected connections. 📚🌟

If you’re looking for a series that combines character depth, sensual tension, and a touch of mystical wilderness, Grumpy Wolves is absolutely the way to go. A perfect read for anyone who loves a strong heroine with curves and a fierce pack of wolf-shifters who truly care. 🌹🐺✨

Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award
Fate of the Wolf Guard series, books 1-4. Alpha Wolves Want Curves series #5. Paranormal shifter romance with erotica elements. Mythology. Can be read separately from the prior Alpha Wolves Want Curves series but better as part of the whole.

Untamed

Taryn wakes up in a dark room, uncertain where she is, who she is and why she’s being held. She’s released in Siberia, on the Island of the Damned where she finds gorgeous men, wolves and herself.
How did this chubby human end up in this paranormal world?
The Wolf Guard know exactly who Taryn is, but they are forbidden from telling her. She has to remember on her own. Fortunately the connections and feelings among Taryn and her wolves are unforgettable. The heart knows.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook version narrated by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem, both who did a marvelous performance for this series of stories. Each story is of one of the guards and the voices of the five main characters flow throughout easily and distinctly. Emotions and erotica elements are clearly heard and felt as the group reunites and becomes complete. Secondary characters add a depth of storytelling to the production for some levity and relief from the drama.
I listened to this a 1.5 and slightly higher to more closely match local conversation speed and comfort.

The intimacy is absorbing and steamy hot. The intricacy of the stories as Taryn rebuilds her memories and becomes more confident in herself and body is empowering. And so sexy. The guard are protective and empowering as they help push Taryn to be her true self.
Curvy why choose power. She’s got it all.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley and publisher Dreamscape Media.

I love Amy Award's curvy sports series, so I was so excited to see what she'd do in this pen name with one of my favorite subgenres- shifter romance. And I enjoyed this listen.

Taryn wakes up in complete darkness. No idea who she is, where she is, or why she’s being held captive. When she’s finally released, she finds herself in one of the harshest places imaginable: a Siberian prison island ominously known as the Island of the Damned. What she doesn’t expect? Gorgeous, mysterious men who shift into wolves, cryptic whispers about her past, and a powerful bond that defies explanation. Though Taryn feels like an ordinary human, she quickly learns that nothing about her situation is ordinary. The Wolf Guard know exactly who she is, but are forbidden from telling her. Her memories must return on their own. Until then, the heart, and the bond she shares with these fierce shifters, are all she can rely on.

This special edition collects all four Fate of the Wolf Guard books, focusing on Taryn and her dynamic with August, Vasily, Joachim, and Grigori. It’s a “why choose” shifter romance, rich with action, mythology, romance, and humor. While the setup might sound like pure paranormal fantasy fluff, there’s much more beneath the surface. As the case with Amy (Aidy’s other penname), there is a lot of heart to this and plenty of meaningful connection.

I love the curvy girl power in Aidy/Amy’s writing. Taryn is relatable and empowering. She embraces her curves, her strength, and her femininity. Her growth, from scared and unsure to bold and self-aware, is inspiring without feeling forced. Shown not told.

And of course who wouldn’t love a delicious pack of protective mates? Each of the male leads has a distinct voice and emotional depth. The romantic connections feel authentic, blending slow-burn tenderness with fierce loyalty and passion. Yes, there’s spice, but the emotion and heart is here too.
The setting here also plays a great role in the story. The icy, unforgiving Siberian setting is vivid and immersive, and ups the stakes. Weather, wolves, ancient bloodlines - oh my! It’s all tied together beautifully.

The audio is LONG (it’s got several books after all), so definitely worth the credit/buy. Its narrated by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem, who have narrated the whole series. I’ve loved Stephanie’s performance so far. She always captures such emotional depth and range, embodying each heroine beautifully and here she’s perfect as Taryn. I’ve had mixed feelings about Curt- but in part because the few I’ve listened to I felt his book didn’t match the alpha. But here I liked him as the guards. Perhaps because we have more character variety here he fit more for more (I also listened to Book 1 in the series).

Overall, a fun, flirty paranormal romance with heart, heat, and great tie in to the series. What starts as a mystery about a lost woman in a dangerous land evolves into an empowering, romantic, and myth-rich journey of self-discovery and fated mate connection. If you love the shifter genre, why choose dynamics, and plenty of heart and heat, this listen is enjoyable.

Taryn's Odyssey

You are going to love Taryn. What a wonderful idea having 4 stories into one book. Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone and Undefeated follow Taryn on her journey of discovery. Her 4 mates stand by her and would die for her. It's an added bonus that her mates are super hot and sexy. An exceptional read that has romance, action and lots of sexy times. It is the complete package

This is the complete collection of the Fate of the Wolf Guard which includes- Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone and Undefeated. This was a quick listen, and I was happy that I listened to them all at once and didn't have to wait for the next book as the cliff hangers would get me going.

This 100% is a why choose book, but it left me confused. Half the time, I didn't know who was talking or what they were talking about or even who's POV we were in as it was briefly stated at the beginning of the chapter. The back and forth for having amnesia then not really got me confused because then there were different names introduced. All in all, this was a spicy paranormal romance which is what I was looking for.

This Audiobook was narrated by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem. While I was happy to have 2 voices, I think it could've benefited with a whole cast as there were multiple POVs not just the 2. It got a little confusing, but the narrators did a good job with brining the book to life.

Thank you NetGalley for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

🎧 Audiobook Review: Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review

Tropes
💘 Fated mates
🔥 Reverse harem
🐺 Shifter romance
💪 Plus-size heroine
🧠 Amnesia
🫂 Found family
⚡ Power awakening
😈 Demons and other hellspawn
🌊 Island prison chaos

Let’s start with the basics: this audiobook is a beast but in the best way. It clocks in at over 14 hours because it’s actually a special edition that bundles four books from the Fate of the Wolf Guard series (Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone, and Undefeated). So yes, it’s long. But it’s also layered, intricate, and absolutely worth the journey.

Taryn
Taryn is the kind of heroine who makes you laugh out loud in public and then clutch your chest two chapters later. Her inner monologue? Sitcom level brilliance. She’s self deprecating, sarcastic, and constantly roasting herself in ways that feel painfully relatable. Whether she’s navigating supernatural chaos or trying to decode her own emotions, her self-talk is the glue that holds this wild ride together. Honestly, it’s what carried me through the entire series. You don’t just root for her you want to text her memes at 2 a.m.

The Pack
Reverse harem done right. Each mate brings something different to the table grumpiness, tenderness, feral protectiveness and Aidy Award gives them all room to breathe. The emotional bonds are just as satisfying as the spicy ones, and watching Taryn grow stronger with each connection is everything ❤️.

The World
This isn’t just wolves. You’ve got lions, demons, and a whole supernatural ecosystem that keeps the stakes high and the plot moving. The final book pulls everything together in a way that’s both clever and cathartic. If you’re not paying attention, you’ll miss something important!

Final Thoughts
Some folks might say this series is long winded. I say it’s a slow burn with a big bite. The character buildup, the shifting perspectives, the emotional payoff it’s all there. And Taryn’s hilarious, heartfelt inner voice? That’s the secret sauce. If you love shifter romance with depth, humor, and a heroine who feels like your best friend and your fiercest protector, this book eats!

Enjoyable & Fun,

I had a great time listening to this and it was a much better story overall than I expected from reading the synopsis; this was all four Fate of the Wolf Guard books in one special edition focusing on Taryn, August, Vasily, Joachim & Grigori, it’s also book 5 in the Alpha Wolves Wants Curves series, I haven’t read any Aidy Award books before including the previous books in the series (will be now!) but it didn’t take long to figure out what was going on, the story kicks off with Taryn being dumped in a Siberian prison with very little memory, in danger of being claimed by dangerous men that’s when we meet the first on the MMC’s and the story and Taryn’s past starts to unfold.

I loved all the characters, the distinct differences in personality and what they all brought to the story, this is a why choose, shifter romance and being honest I thought it would be very heavy on the spice with little story going into it but I really enjoyed how in depth the story was overall and the inclusion of historical and mythical references that all tied in really well, I also laughed throughout this book, I’m still laughing at the reference to Hagrid turning up and saying “you’re a Wizard Taryn” among other funnies, slight spoiler coming but another of my favourite parts that I swooned over was the love across lifetimes, that just gets me,

For anyone the likes why choose, shifters, gods, demons, other magical creatures, fated mates, sassy strong FMC, protective, grumpy MMC’s, spice and a bit of fun this is well worth a read.

Listening on Audiobook I thought the narrators did a fantastic job, Stephanie Rose portrayed Taryn so so well, and Curt Bonnem did a good job with all the voices, the only slight downside for me was with the accents I didn’t always catch some of the words first time but that’s probably my hearing,

First I would like to thank NetGalley, the Author, the Narrators and the Publisher for this Audio ARC.

Stephanie Rose really made you feel just as confused as Taryn was.
Curt Bonnem did a wonderful job in giving all four, yes four, of Taryn's mate's their own voice. There was a distinguished sound and feel in how each of the men sounded, August was more demanding and rough, with Vasily you could hear and feel the hurt in his voice, he was also more timid then the others, and Father Joachim sounded very controlled, there were less emotions in his voice, Grigori on the other hand sounded angry and demanding and repulsed, especially when they first met.

I was confused from start to finish, Questions poping up like moonflowers, throughout the book some of them got answered but even more questions arose.
We got introduced to characters who have history with the FMC yet this wasn't furter explained.
Then there was the Dragon, which I guess was an interlude to the dragon shifter series.
Then there is our mysterious heroin in Hell. (Fallyn I think she is called)
And we have the InnKeepers Kosta and Heli, where Taryn takes her people after they leave the island, they know of Taryn and her previous pack, Alpha Niko and Zara, something we know nothing about.
It might be my own fault since I didn't read any of Aidy Award's other books. So I might have set myself up for the confusion and lingering questions.

All in all.
This was a fun book, it made me laugh and snicker and blush, sometimes even all at once and I loved the Russian pet names! They are a lot cuter than anything I've heard so far.
This is also a fun introduction into Aidy Award's universe and it has me thinking of reading more of her books and I would definitely recommend this audio book to everyone of my friends.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hachette Audio for providing me with an advanced listener copy of this book.

Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award is book six in the Alpha Wolves Want Curves series and is actually a collection of the four Fate of the Wolf Guard stories in one volume. It ties directly into Aidy Award’s Alpha Wolves Want Curves universe, and for those who want to dive deeper, her Dragons Love Curves series also connects to this world. Together, these books are a must-read for fans of paranormal romance with strong, feminine leads.

What really stood out to me was how authentic the characters’ struggles and triumphs felt. I especially loved Taryn’s journey—she embraces her curves and femininity while proving that true strength can take many forms. The storyline had plenty of twists and turns to keep me hooked, and the reverse harem dynamic was handled really well, with each mate offering something unique—grumpiness, tenderness, or feral protectiveness.

On the downside, the male narration felt a bit cringey at times, which occasionally pulled me out of the story. Since this book is part of an ongoing series, it also felt like I was missing some context at the start. I’d recommend reading or re-reading the earlier Alpha Wolves Want Curves books to fully understand the plot before diving in.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read with a strong story and engaging characters, though I do think a different male narrator might have elevated the audiobook experience.

Whew, I felt like I was dropped straight into a paranormal prison camp in the middle of Siberia (yes, Siberia ❄️🐺), and honestly? I wasn’t sure what to expect.

What I got: wolf shifters, found family vibes, a heroine who thinks she’s just an ordinary “chubby, boring human,” and a whole lot of steamy, action packed chaos.

Taryn wakes up with no memory, terrified, and thrown into a place called the Island of the Damned (cheerful name, right?). Every man there wants to claim her, but the wolves who come to her rescue? Yeah… they’re not just hot, protective, and grumpy in the best way possible..they’re the kind of pack you actually want to root for.

And Taryn? Watching her go from “plain old me” to discovering her strength and identity was so satisfying.

Narration wise: Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem did a solid job bringing both the grit and the heat. I really liked how they handled the shifts between fear, tenderness, and oh my goodness SPICE.

Small criticism..at times it dragged a little, and the darker prison setting might not be everyone’s jam.

But overall? I loved the combination of survival story, romance, and paranormal politics. Plus, I’m always here for a curvy heroine who learns she’s way more powerful and way more loved than she ever believed.

There’s just something about a man with an accent that does it for me, and Curt absolutely brought his A-game to this series. Stephanie Rose is an incredible narrator in her own right, and she pulled out all the stops to bring feisty (and totally confused, thanks to amnesia) Taryn to life. I loved how Taryn constantly adapted. She couldn’t remember who she was or why she ended up in a Siberian prison, yet she instantly connected with the shifters who crossed her path even if she didn’t understand why. Most people would’ve curled up in a corner and cried, but not Taryn. She kept moving forward, piecing things together with grit and humor. And let’s be real-her sense of humor was a highlight. I can only imagine how distracting it would be to have impossibly hunky, bold wolf shifters at every turn, but she handled it like a champ (even if they weren’t shy in the least). This book was fantastic-fun, fast-paced, super spicy, and impossible to hit pause. It’s a why choose / reverse harem trope, so if that’s not your thing, you may want to skip it. But if it is your thing? Buckle up, because this ride is worth every second.

So, I didn’t go into this book real realizing this was an omnibus and book 6 in the whole alpha wolves want curves universe. So it was safe to say I was a little lost. Since this was an audiobook read for me, instead of actually reading, it took me quite a few chapters to piece out all the different characters and their roles in this book. And to also tell good guy from bad guy. I always like audiobooks with accented narrators, and this is no exception however, I feel like it might’ve made, grasping the concept of the book slightly difficult in the beginning.

I did find myself getting a little bored with the book. I found myself listening to this audiobook on x2.0 to try and get through it faster. There was nothing I could point out that made me feel this way, I just found myself getting bored.

Overall, the book was enjoyable, and the Scottish accents definitely made for a more entertaining listen, but I don’t think I will be going back to read the rest of the alpha wolves want curves series

This was a really interesting world of shifters, gods, and demons! The FMC has absolutely no memories when we meet her so everything we learn about this world and her past lives is along with her. I do wish it was a little more fleshed out and could have used some more character and relationship development in the present instead of relying on a past fated connection between them all. But overall, it was an entertaining read and fun world. I did really enjoy the little references to Russian queens and history like Katherine the Great, Anastasia, and even Olga of Kiev.

I listened to the audiobook of this one and while I think the narrators did a fine job, the male narrator’s accent started a little strong and distracting. It took a little getting used to but overall I think did add to the storytelling even if I think it could have been a little softer and achieved the same effect.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the Advance Listening Copy for review. All opinions are my own.

Confusion 😕

Half the time, I didn't know who was talking or what they were talking about. At one point, she claims she feels like an "amnesic hogwarts drop out." Me too! 1600s, 5000 years ago, and all the different names. It took two days to read this book because I kept going back to see who was talking and if I missed something.
The Russian phrases and names - tell me what it means or don't use it. It bugs me that I have to go goggle words/phrases in the middle of reading a book. And the scotish/Gaelic word for unicorn.... ugh!!!!!!
I did enjoy the ending and the whole mother thing. It reminded me of the cartoon; the year without a santa clause when Ms. Clause calls Mother Nature to deal with sons. Taryn calls her daughters to deal with their bickering and a consort and a husband. Wow!
Finally, we are back to the wolves.
Plus, the bad guy who said his life was ruined by being a wolf gets relieved of his. Karma..am I right.

3.5 ⭐️

Grumpy Wolves is book five in the Alpha Wolves Want Curves series but is also the complete series of the Fate of the Wolf Guard. This contains 4 books: Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone and Undefeated. It follows Taryn, August, Vasily, Joachim, and Grigori.

This book was fun and had an interesting storyline full of mythology and lore. There was a lot of information packed into this omnibus as it was 4 books in one. For me, at times I felt it was a little overwhelming because you find out that Taryn has lived so many lives and had a lot of different names that everyone kept calling her. It was kind of confusing to keep track of.

Aside from that I enjoyed it! I love a good why choose romance with grumpy wolf shifter mates. Taryn was sassy, strong, funny and relatable. The guys were all grumpy a*holes with a heart of gold.

Stephanie Rose was fantastic as Taryn. Curt Bonnem was okay. I wish his voices for August, Vasily, Joachim, and Grigori were distinctly different as I had a hard time differentiating who was speaking. They both did really bring the characters to life!

Thank you so much, Aidy Award, Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for the gifted copy!

Grumpy Wolves

This book is about Taryn and her Wolf Guard/ mates August, Joachim, Vasily & Grigori. Taryn is in several of the books of this series because she is so pivotal. She is after all a Goddess! Which is why she got 4 books dedicated to her story — Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone, & Undefeated. But because some might not realize that Taryns entire story actually fits into the timeline between Hungry Wolf (book 4) and the newest book being written, Filthy Wolf (book 6)! So Aidy created a book 5 by simply putting all Taryns books into one book - Grumpy Wolves (book 5)! Content is the same! Now it’s just in one convenient book! Brilliant! And yes even though it was the same content, I read it again because I love the story so much!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Makes so much more sense now!

* Make sure you read the whole series in the right order. It'll help the series flow better.
I've read these books out of order, reading the dragons love curves first. However, it was exciting to be reminded of each story and made me want to start the series all over again. Reading this book was like putting the puzzle together. I absolutely love this series and all her others and how they all connect to each other.
When I picked the first aidy award book up, I nearly put it back down because it's not my normal style of writing. I gave it a second chance and have been going ever since. If this is the first you are looking at for Aidy, make sure you start at the beginning. Well worth it, and you will love all the characters

Grumpy Wolves is four stories into one book/audio. Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone and Undefeated follow Taryn on her journey of remembering her past defeating the evil along with her fated wolf guard mates. Grigori, August, Father Joachim and Vasily all filled something different for Taryn.
The secrets, danger, smexy time and mystery kept my attention.

I enjoyed all the stories being in one book and the shadowing for other books and a look back at some previous characters bring everything full circle to them getting their happy ending.

The narration by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem was good I enjoyed the accents in this one.

This was such a fun ride of past lives, mates, and a retelling of Anastasia. We have a sassy fmc who uses her connection with the “men that belong to her and whom she belongs to”, to find her true self. She woke up with no memories, found herself in a magical prison with some hot men and fights for her memories and the lives of those she loves. Through the retelling of the story some betrayal and character growth and you have a good idea of the adventures in this story. Throughout the book it becomes a test of trust and forgiveness. I like that they work through their problems to be together instead of faltering at the first sign of trouble. We find that the fmc brings life to the people and the environment of the prison and more. The rest you will have to read to find out!

Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award is a bundle of four books (Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone, and Undefeated) in one audiobook.
The world is an omegaverse, in a prison camp that is more complex and intricate than it shows at the beginning, there are shifters, wolves, lions and a whole supernatural world that will keep the world building and the plot moving. This story is a reverse harem in a superior pack done right and absolutely beautifully, steamy and with a lot of room to breathe where we can get to fall in love with each character.
The FMC, Taryn, she is relatable, sarcastic and constantly roasting herself.
The MMCs are perfect pieces of a puzzle fitting in the most delectable way.
Audiobook is performed by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem who did an absolutely amazing job bringing these characters to life!

Grumpy Wolves by Aidy Award was a fun read with a solid story and some great wolf shifter vibes. I especially enjoyed the characters and really liked following Taryn’s journey—it kept me interested the whole way through.

The audiobook narration was decent overall, though at times the male narrator’s voice didn’t quite work for me. Still, it didn’t take away too much from the story.

If you’re looking for a wolf shifter romance with engaging characters and a good dose of grumpy charm, this one is worth checking out!

Huge thanks to Dreamscape Select & Coffee Break Publishing for letting me listen and review this wild ride. 🐺💥

This collection from Fate of the Wolf Guard is fast-paced, intriguing, and packed with all the fated mate goodness you could ask for. If wolf shifters are your thing, this one’s a treat. 🐾❤️

I loved how Taryn doesn’t hold back; she knows what she wants (even if she’s still figuring out who she is). She trusts her instincts, and in the end, that’s exactly what saves them all. 💪✨

When the forces of evil come knocking, you don’t roll over; you fight. Taryn shows us her strength, her heart, and her refusal to give up, even when everything feels lost. 🔥🖤

Growly wolves, oh my!

Audiobook review.

The Complete Collection of the Fate of the Wolf Guard, 4 books in 1.
An action-packed romance full of magical sexy characters. This paranormal shifter why choose romance was so entertaining. I enjoyed these stories and characters.

Narrated by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem. They have excellent delivery and bring the characters to life. Their voices are easy to listen to and I liked the accents.

I was taken away to a fantastical world full of delicious growly shifters and their powerful woman.

Thank you NetGalley and Aidy Award for the opportunity to listen to the ARC audiobook.

I just couldn't do this. Which sucks because I was excited to read this one. None of the romance or attraction was convincing to me.

I received this audiobook as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley, Aidy Award, and Dreamscape Select for the opportunity to review this book. As much as I loved this book there was a few things that just seemed weird. Some times it felt forced, other times it felt right. I got the ALC to this and as much as I loved it, I really wish it had been duet style. It definitely needed multiple men narrators with the female. They did amazing don’t get me wrong, but some times the guy sounded the same for different characters, like he forgot to switch.

Over all the story was cute! Spicy for sure and I enjoyed that haha! Fast paced time line but I guess if this wasn’t their first rodeo, I can understand why haha!

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:
Story: 4 stars Narration: 5 stars Overall: 4 stars

Grumpy Wolves: The Fate of the Wolf Guard is a beautiful reverse harem tale about Taryn and her wolf guards. It is four books in one: Unclaimed, Untamed, Undone and Undefeated. Listen to the tale of Taryn, Queen of the Wolves and her four wolf guard mates-August, Vasily, Joachim and Grigori.
The dual narration by Stephanie Rose and Curt Bonnem was spectacular. Stephanie Rose was brilliant as bold, sassy beautiful Taryn. Curt Bonnem was superb as August, Vasily, Joachim and Grigori. His voice for each of them was perfect. I highly recommend listening.
Thanks to the author and NetGalley for this ALC.

Good but drags a bit

I thought it dragged on a bit in places, and some of it was quite repetitive. In the rest of the series, she always gives some glimpses of random thoughts the characters have, and I find that fun. It makes the characters relatable. However, in this one, there is just too much of it and it messes with the flow of the story, imo. There is also a lot of typos and the book could have used some more editing.

That being said, the plot, the story itself, is real great and I can’t wait to see where the series goes from there.

I'm glad to get the full series.

Wow, it had been a while since I read the series this book is part of. And I had never read any part of this book before. So, it was amazing to have all the books together and not have to track them down in the middle of the night!
This is not a stand-alone story. You need to have read about the wolves in Aidy's other books for this to make any sense at all. And it is probably better if you have also meet the dragons.
