Stella is widowed and has moved to the country to care for her sick aunt. After being married off to a much older husband who was also sick, she’s been taking care of sick family for a long time. So she decides to go on a walk to clear her mind. But she twists her ankle and has to get help from the stable lads. They help her in more ways than one.
This was okay. I enjoyed the first one in the series more because I felt like there was better build up and sexual tension. I didn’t feel that tension as much in this one.
But this was still alright and I’m excited to read about each of the other ladies in their little club too. I do hope we find out who the highwayman was from the first book at some point as well.

Perfect if you're looking for something quick and steamy to read.
Especially if you're looking for a one-handed read.
The Lady meets her aunt's new stable crew. As she makes her way to her aunt's house, she hurts her ankle and asks the stable lads to help her.
