Fuck this. Lmao. Every other story in this book about how butches are inevitable transitioners, or how stone butches are frigid selfish bitches, or butches don't know how to satisfy femmes, or dysphoric butches are violent male oppressors, or butch4butch women are "faggots" who need to get with "real women." I was reading this slowly with my girlfriend, supposedly for fun, and the language these authors use is so frequently outright callous and nasty that I honestly just got upset and went to bed half the time. Like what the hell was the point? Don't bill a collection as butch/femme romance if you're going to spend all your time talking about how disgusting and worthless one half of that dynamic is. Don't bother picking this one up. I'm sorry I slogged through it. I'm REALLY sorry I own it. This thing might need to be ceremonially burned.

I loved this anthology! Seriously, the stories were hot and the romance was sincere. Usually I have a hard time finding women loving women romance/erotica stories that are actually hot. I am sad that it took me so long to read this!

Wassup Joy Parks ..... astounding how well hated we butch are....we aren't all cold, hating self, bashing women, now that may have been the norm way back when we couldn't see ourselves and were brought up hating self....but there are those among us who right our ways, embrace our selfs, and learn....I'm not really butch...I'm 2Spirit....there's a big difference ....I appear one way, so the world treats me one way, and that causes confusion and years of trying to figure out where you sit...Joy Parks...it's well written...but I thought you being the fem you are wouldn't bash us so....but hurt is hurt and I'm sorry....happy is a better place ... forgiveness is a better stance....I'd like to talk to you but you are invisible....Joy Parks can write better than this ..please do....and get in touch k.... Blech. Seriously. Pedestrian, painfully cliche, AND boring, which all together should get get you ex-communicated from being gay. If I want pedestrian, cliche, AND boring, I'll read chick-lit.
