Several beautiful vests, but they seem to be only inspired by vests or garments from other cultures. I had hoped for more authenticity and history. I suppose that would be a very complicated job. I did enjoy looking through the patterns. No mosaic, just stranded....

The vests are beautiful and a few seem to be easy enough to knit that even I could make them.

Wonderful assortment of styles & techniques shown in beautiful photos. Interweave Press does a great job of showing Oberle’s designs.

These vest patterns are the most original and best looking I have ever seen. They are not easy to knit. Cheryl's use of different cultures creates a diversity and interest on page after page. Great book!
