I really enjoyed reading this book. The main story Cuckoo, is such a fascinating, yet devastating story. To read, in hindsight, of all the near misses to finding the criminal is quite amazing. I couldn't put this book down.

A great main story in this collection, although I was a little thrown by the shorter stories afterwards, there was a little too much variety in them. The title does not really give away that some of the short stories contained in this compilation are about family, extinct species of animals, and reflections of a war veteran.... Perhaps a different title???
