A story of international ice skating competition, versus Andrew Lee Campbell, choreographer, and Stephen, the home town boyfriend vying for Claire Glass
I wish I had been able to read these books in order-- I just ordered the other four books in the series because as terrible and dated as this one seemed in comparison to the first one in the series, my OCD now requires that I read them all, as I don't remember this particular series after thirty years to remember what happens and now I must know how Claire went from a second place regionals finish to the World Championships in this book. Also, I hate the cheesy romance in this book, but it also makes me terribly nostalgic for the days when teen romance novels never delved deeper into relationships than kissing at the doorstep after an actual date. Pretty sure not only does that not happen these days in real life, but also not even in teen fiction. Two stars for guilty pleasure fun.
