Regina finds her ex-boyfriend stumbling through the hedges. A zombie, he’s no less intelligent than when he'd been alive. While attempting to shoo him away, her efforts are thwarted by her sexy neighbor Heath Collins. How was he to know she’d once dated the bumbling undead? Heath intended his zombie-bashing rescue to break the ice. Great. Now he'll have to find another way to impress her.
Um... well. I'm not sure that my mom knew what this was about when she got it on my nook a couple years ago.
Anyways, I sort of liked how this guy came in and we knew him for all of twelve minutes and then they started kissing... but it didn't feel awkward, it felt natural, as far as insta-love goes.
refer to my review of Cursed and Compelled for a rant about how bad the insta love was there. and this ebook only had about ten more pages than that one, so it can be done well, you see?
Um... yeah.
also, this book is not for young children. or Sophomores in High School. (thank God i didn't use my nook back then)
I've been a fan of Zane's writing since her "Were" series, and when I saw she wrote a short zombie story, one of my favorite movie genres, I had to find it and read it. Nicely done, and so, so wish it were longer.
