I am a New York City native who grew up in the heart of Chinatown. Now I am a happy transplant living in the City By the Bay, San Francisco. When I’m not writing, I travel extensively, and play golf in just about any kind of weather. My first career was in engineering and at the end of the cold war I moved into the finance field. I became serious about writing after leaving my job with a major bank in San Francisco and now I write full time. I believe in living an audacious life and in happy endings.
I was bored with the first half of this story today as well.

The accident saved it, in my opinion. Before that, I saw nothing in their relationship that caught my interest. It was nice and happy at the end, of course.
Perhaps I'm just not in the right frame of mind today. I'm thinking it's me and my mood. Or maybe it really was the stories. I'm not sure at this point.

I read Peter and Alec's short story prior to this, so this book is like the story of how they met and end up together. Unfortunately, it's pretty boring and flat. Though there is one accident that pumps the blood into a more exciting point, but it doesn't last long. Mostly maybe because I'm annoyed on how Alec treats the relationship; thus I'm losing interest fast.
Alec and Peter's story was a fun read. It was nice to see character build slowly to a relationship and not just rush to the bedroom on the first meeting. It was also interesting to see how they dealt with those family issues.
