Although the collection is scattered (#2,4,3&11) these are delightful little nuggets of Wexford. Rendell is on the cutting edge even though these were all written in the late 60s. Progressive. Wexford is a good old fashioned cop who questions and digs till he gets his answers. His right hand, Burden, is no slouch either. I look forward to many more adventures (at least 20!).
