The name Theolyn Boese is a pen name with a bit of history behind it. Theolyn, pronounced Thay-o-lyn, is my great grandmothers middle name on my mothers side of the family. The closest we've come to finding a definition is "divine lightning" or "power/ruler of the lake/pool/waterfall." It is Old English, but mom's family is from Norway. Boese, pronounced Bay-zee, is my grandmothers maiden name on my fathers side. Dad's family is a tad more colorful. They are from Germany and his grandfather told him that one of the definitions is 'bad'. *grin* From the stories I've heard over the years it is very fitting.
I live in Oregon in the Columbia River Gorge. I started writing when I was in the fourth grade. I was taking special education courses to help me with my dyslexia when my primary teacher decided to have a talented and gifted class for poetry. My S.E. teacher thought it would be good for me and stuck me in it as well. It surprised everyone, including myself, when I took off with it. I've been writing ever since.
I have a Border Collie named Fuzzbutt, two cats, Goblyn and Wisp and assorted freshwater snails and guppies.
So as desc. says several months have passed. Thea lost her baby due to the rapist/murder who tried to kill her but only killed her unborn baby instead quite enough damage.. the family unit has asked SYA to marry them.. Not to keen on that, I don't share well.... would not share my man or men, since she is married to two men... still I could not share, and she is asking another woman 'her best friend' into the relationship and she is not gay.... so this makes for more dynamics... at this point in the book Thea is helping Sya pack, and Sya has taken it upon herself to kiss thea and a little more.... Thea tells her she has never down anything like this.... in fact has never even been with anyone but her husbands... since she was a virgin.
So Sya ask well do you want me to stop... nervous and shaking Thea says NO.... So they continue on, what will happen exactly I don't know since I stopped right there as they kiss and she is thinking to her self this feels different such soft kisses not like a man at all soft touches.... /// end of reading thus far.....
I can say,, I feel or think in my own mind, this should have been saved for the four of them, Thea and her husbands as well as Sya... if this is the activity they are to take part in.
with just the two of them 'since they are not married yet' and a proposal has just taken place she is cheating on her husbands by not including them wtih this... others may feel different but since I have never shared well or been a cheater//or been in a open relationship it should have meant more and been shared with all four in this relationship.
I liked this book, but not as much as the first of the series. There wasn't as much interaction between Thea and her 2 husbands and I discovered that sex between 2 women doesn't do much for me. I was glad to see that the guy who assaulted Thea in the previous book was brought to justice. It looks like there is at least one more book in the series, based on how this one ended. I'm not sure I liked this one enough to get the next book.
This book felt really scattered to me. Still way too much gods/goddesses for my taste.
One thing I did find interesting was when Thea asks Sya'Tia to marry her. This is the first F/F/M/M book I've ever read and it made for some pretty hot lovin'.
We get to visit all 3 sets of Thea's in-laws back on the home world. Kiran and Deshen were great as usual.
What was the point of all those re-incarnated animals playing pranks on everyone...so weird and pointless.
I wasn't expecting so much religion in these books, and usually when Faith comes into my reading, I lose interest. This however, kept me interested, it wasn't boring with an overuse of foreign words. This is the first story I've read containing F/F relations and I enjoyed their togetherness as much as the M/M. I just wish there was more!
This is a continuation of "The Daughter's of Terra". The first book seemed much more coherent whereas this was disjointed, jumping from one thought to the next. The Gods and their animals were a chapter that was incomprehensible and boring.
The sex was not as good nor did it even happen in the first 1/2 of the book. This was supposedly erotica so was a little strange. Seeing how the 2nd wife, Sya'tia was brought into the fold was interesting but yet that seemed glossed over too.
I did like to see the characters again and how their family's were on the home world. I thought the trial was over the top and not necessary to that extent. Everything there was too easily wrapped up. Yet other points totally left open.
I don't know... somethings were in depth and other glossed over... disjointed, is the closest word I can think of for how I felt.
Loved this second installment just as much as the first! It has a wonderful sense of fairness that is refreshing. The sexual and romantic relationships while unique compared to most human standards have an innocence about them that keeps them from delving into the immoral or crude. I can't wait to read the next chapter in Thea's new life!
My only real complaint about this book is that it shouldnt have been an individual book, these first two short books should have just been one long one. I still loved it though and it wrapped up parts of the story line from the first one.
lots of interesting concepts in this book. i know that's weird for a smut but yeah.. lol it does. not one i would recommend to most tho but i would reread the series oddly enough /// even skip over the smutty to get to the storyline

This book just did not flow as well as the first. This seemed very disjointed. However, I did still enjoy it. It was a quick read for me but enjoyable. Would have liked to learn more about how the foursome's lives went though.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this series an I hope that you will pickup where you left off with book two. You have built a world that is simply amazing. Thanks for sharing your talent.
It was....alright. I was expecting so much more from this book, I really enjoyed the 1st one but with this one I felt as though something was missing especially towards the end.
