I really enjoyed this one. I thought the historical take on the Drazens was very clever. I love the parallels with Jack and Minnie to Jonathan and Monica. Their story was defiantly cute and as I said clever and well written. It did dip a bit for me in the middle but loved the ending.

I'm not sure CD Reiss would have written it any better! The similarities between the way Minnie and Jack meet are history in the making for future generations of Drazen men. This novel is so historically perfect, it's amazing from the way she describes Minnie's clothing to Jack's treatment of her. It is perfection! He is the perfect alpha of the 1930-40's and she is the blushing virgin. They are the Jonathan and Monica of the past. ...more
