I really don't review books all that often. When I do, it's because a book really caught my attention. Deviant was so deliciously hot and Julien was truly the best guilty pleasure I could have asked for. Natasha Knight wrote a brilliant bad boy. I love a character that is hard to like and harder not to fall in love with. It is the most noteworthy of challenges to create the perfect anti-hero. Julien stole my heart. Hats off...pants off too. :D

I didn't care for this book, not because it wasn't written well but because I didn't like the characters at all. Mia was one of my least favorite types of females - kind of dumb, really trusting, unable to control her attraction to Julien even when he was treating her badly, and almost instantly in love with him for no good reason. (Or maybe it was just because she was dumb..?)

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is dark erotica, with characters I was rooting for. That being said, I think the potential was there for a deeper story - that's the reason for my 4-star rating. It felt like the potential was there for a really great story, but some of that potential was just not realized. ...more

A Hit!!!!

And I don't just mean on Mia's head. This story is Erotic and suspenseful. Julien and Mia don't have easy lives and when a situation brings them together they both learn new things about themselves. I really enjoyed it. ...more
