What Members Thought

This was fantastic. Sort of eerie but also very helpful to read during the second Trump presidency. Fascinating to see the U.S. compared to Iran. Generally I sort of dislike the idea that reading is resistance, because I think it sort of lets us readers off the hook a bit, but Nafisi makes a very strong case for it here.
I immediately bought her earlier book, Reading Lolita in Tehran, because I need to hear more about that time in her life.
