I did it. I finally read Harry Potter.
My gosh the look on people's faces when I say I haven't read them haha. One down the rest to go.

This book really was wonderful. I was nervous it was going to be boring because I saw all the movies but it wasn't. I really enjoyed finding out more about the world that wasn't in the movies. I also found myself forgetting a bunch of stuff which was nice. I obviously know some big parts of the series due to the movies but this was still just as enjoyable. ...more

Another reread down! The MinaLima edition of Harry Potter has got to be the most magical of all! The illustrations, the subtle interactive elements, the impressive weight of every page, made this one of the most enjoyable rereads I've had of the first book.

Great and needed reread of this series. Harry Potter is not perfect but it is to me. This book introduced a world of reading. That is a pretty common event for so many people. But, it is such a personal experie ...more

Even though wizards and the like are not really my thing, I have to admit that I enjoyed this book. I have avoided these because the hype just became too much for me, but I can see now why these have really gathered a following.
