Percy Jackson has been a comfort re-read for years. The writing is super-consumable, fun and high action. Percy sounds and acts like a 12-year-old, because he is a 12-year-old boy, but you get the chance to watch him develop through the series. If you like Greek Mythology retellings, or if you're getting into reading, this series is highly recommended. ...more

I enjoyed this book alot but it doesn't compare to J K Rowling and her Harry Potter Series in my humble opinion. It's characters are not as developed nor is the setting as interesting or compelling, but a good worthwhile read. ...more

Bruh...how many times have I read this book and there is not an official review?? That just seems messed up. The writing is pretty good, but it is the character and the humor and just everything that goes with percy that makes this book what it is.
