This book had me reeling in every chapter, in shock, disbelief, and especially in delight. This reflects the struggles of many people, politics, culture, and etc. While also tying in an insta-love romance between two adolescents fighting to be able to stay together and be with each other. The cover is also ~chefs kiss~ so beautiful, when i first saw it

This book had the angst of They Both Die at the End, which led to me actually crying during some points because of how it tore my heart apart (and thankfully put it back together). Those moments of Santi being pursued by ICE were so stressful and I was begging for him not to get taken away. (view spoiler)

the romance~ I loves their chemistry, how they instantly fit together like a puzzle piece. It was also horny as fuck but atleast their was no on-page sex. It was witty, complicated, flirty, and genuine. They talk like teenagers, do teenager things, and I loved how beautiful their interactions were on each page. Their love felt so real and genuine, this may be the best romance I have ever read in a book.

I felt something in the writing that made it feel like I was really there, the decriptions and moods were all there and I felt the happiness of their kisses and the heartbreak of (view spoiler) This was truly a surprise to read, to find out how beautiful this book really was.

This is going into my favs, I absolutely loves this!! The romance that ties with the angst and the ICE plotting being stressful as fuck, especially in the last 50 pages.This made me laugh and cry, and I don't think I will find a book with romance as beautiful as theirs. The way Ander would do anything to protect his Santi, and how Santi would back up Ander when he needed him to made for an amazing pair. I 👏 WANT 👏 THIS 👏 BOOK. (more like need) RIGHT NOW, ON MY BOOKSHELF.

And also just because,

"' Don't get wild with the strokes,' I tell her while watching as she goes back and forth withe the brush. 'Isn't that what your last boyfriend told you?' she replies with a grin, her fist making fast up-and-down motions in the air."

I love the humor in this book, I really do.

Also another quote of Ander and Santi flirting.

"'You don't have to put pants on.' 'What?' ' I'll see you later,' he replies with a proud grin, knowing we both heard what he said. 'I promise.'"
I literally can't, so fucking horny.

I can't stop, I've already booked marked half the book with quotes, this time one extremely relatable.
