This is actually the first Seuss' book I've ever read. Due to my non English speaking background, I missed out on Seuss as a child. A wonderfully strange book as I believe all Seuss' creation are. Unfortunately, it didn't actually explain what is "more to" Christmas. Thus, I'm feeling a little bit let down. ...more

I just read this to my daughter (as a bit of Christmas-themed reading). I didn't read any Dr. Seuss growing up, and only started once my daughter was born. His books are definitely likeable and fun to read aloud but that's as far as they go for me, I'm afraid. ...more
