Ali Hazelwood moet nog steeds een boek schrijven die ik niet goed vond. Ze is echt mijn comfort auteur & Deep End bewees weeral waarom dat het geval is. Ik relate heel vaak met de fmc’s van Ali en ook Scarlett lijkt gewoon een kopie van wie ik ben als persoon (een bolletje anxiety met het imposter syndroom). This one is all spice, and boring plot tbh. Didn’t feeling any connection with the characters at all!
The mmc and fmc are literally the exact same people in different fonts. Athletes. Pre-med. Smart. Reserved. Blah, blah, they’re perfect for each other.
And, we’re just supposed to skip over the part where the fmc is with her best friend’s ex-boyfriend? Like I didn’t see a reason why to add her into the plot except to add drama and tension. Felt un ...more
