I took hold of my independence on this very fine Independence Day and devoured this book. Now, I am sad because it just went way to fast :( What am I supposed to do now?? I freaking loved it!! It was everything I hoped for and expect from Mary Calmes. L-O-V-E ♥♥♥ These boys were an absolute dream to me. **Re-Read 2022**
I’m not sure how many times I’ve read/listened to this now, I think three but I’m betting four, but I gotta say, I am so happy that every time it feels fresh. Some of it even seems new.
After immersing myself back in Jory’s life (See Just George) I just had to get back to my Marshals and finish their story. I put it off for so long out of fear over that stupid fucking gun! Ha!

This may be my third or fourth re-read/listen of this book and the enjoyment it gives me never diminishes. Ever.
For a MoT lover, getting a spin-off that is as good as the series it comes from is seriously the best present in the world. The book remaining a favorite is priceless.

What a great start to the series. Loved everything about this story. The characters are awesome. Loved the dynamics and how they became reversed when they became more then partners. I didn't realize it was a series read until the end. Looking forward to the next book.

4.25 Stars!!
This book was a bit different. Ian and Miro was two alpha males that are U.S. Marshals. I liked how they did not just jump into bed with each other although as soon as they came to know the others feelings it was full steam ahead. There was not much angst. The action was good if a bit predictable. It is good book just not a great one.
