Not even going to try and explain all the things I disliked here. The story fizzled and imploded almost from the get-go. Sadly, too, because it had the potential to be something much better. Mediocre writing at best, filled with a bunch of nonsensical page-filler, and it felt as though the author was in a rush to just get a book published.
