What Members Thought
Impressed by period detail and that I did not guess the full outcome of the murder mystery until the end. This provided a lively discussion for our f2f mystery group's Christmas selection. We all loved the description of the pre-Victorian way the Christmas holiday was celebrated. I was also impressed by the skillful way the author wove real places and people into her fictional tale. This was the only Jane Austen mystery I've read and it worked well as a stand-alone once I got past my mind insist
