I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, I like the Plum series, but they have gotten repetitive. This book surprised me, it was sweet and I found myself smiling often when I was reading.

A good book but really kind of Stephanie Plum-ish, including some of the warped humor of those books though not as much as the Plum books. The mystery is handled well and Lorelei King does a good job in reading the audiobook. She also reads many of the Stephanie Plum books, which lent itself a bit more toward this book vaguely being a Plum book. I think it's probably best I did the audiobbok this time though. For some bizarre reason, I continually (albeit mentally) pronounced Culhane as Calhune

My score is really 2.5. I liked the story well enough, however I felt like some of the side stories weren't wrapped up for the amount of detail that was given about them during the main story.
If those side stories were tidied up a bit for closure purposes, my rating would have gone closer to a 4. ...more

It was easy to read, kinda sweet, there was a mystery there. I guess it wasn't quite sexy or funny or a strong enough mystery for me. Just a plain little old romance.
