This was a good book which I liked because it was short stories. I was able to put it down and pick it up much later without feeling that I had to start all over again. Some stories were definitely better than others but I find it to be a good read which goes pretty quickly.

This is a very interesting collections of short stories spanning the lives of very different Indians in the world and in very different cultural settings. The author is so talented at weaving stories that just make you wish there was more book behind them. Wonderful!

I didn't love this, and I'm disappointed because I did love The Namesake. Maybe I just don't like short stories. ...more
