What Members Thought
I think this is one of those books that hits different when you read it at different points of your life. You will identify with each character differently, depending on your current situation or struggles. It definitely stands the test of time. I really want to try an audio of this. It's good every time I read it.

What a terrible miss in my opinion. The characters were so unbelievable saccharine sweet even in the time it was written i cannot believe families were like this - so blessed to give up christmas breakfast / have their father gone to war / their sister dying etc etc. I rarely give up on books so I have struggled my way through it but have no desire to read any other of Louisa May Alcotts books
I know after all these years people have either read this book or seen some adaptation on film. So instead of rehashing what the story is about, I will just say what I loved about it.
This book made me realize the importance of family and sisterhood. I loved how this family, even through their struggles, stuck together. Their lives weren't always easy and yet they stood by each other regardless.
