A good book that was written well enough to read about a culture that I may not normally have read. This book deals with a kid in an apartment who really doesn't want to get involved in the gang that also lives in the apartment. His mother gets some good luck that gets them a house away from the apartment, but that means leaving his best friend at the mercy of the gang. Also deals with issues of bullying, stereotyping, and the economy.
