Inferno is the typical run-of-the-mill Dan Brown thriller with an exciting plot that twists and turns more than you'd want it to. It is amusingly predictable in a sense that the reader knows a deviation from the expected story line is lurking in almost every chapter of the book.

So, I finished reading the much hyped "Inferno" and yes, it was my first Dan Brown. Hold your gasps, I have been caught up with a lot of things and I watched the Da Vinci Code movie and was reluctant to read the book therefore.
Anyway, the book explores certain moral grey areas and the worst part is that the author chooses to take a stand instead of letting it hang out there. I thought only Bollywood movies had this infectious disease of being preachy but now I know it is a universa ...more

This is really a fast paced thriller from Dan Brown. The climax was more like an anti-climax. The run for your life theme suddenly came to an abrupt end. However, the research done on arts and cities is to be lauded. This is far better than the previous, "The Lost Symbol". Finished it within 24 hours.
