I'm not sure what to rate this. Parts of it were great but there were several times when I almost abandoned it and tossed it in the DNF pile so maybe 2 or 2.5 Stars.

This was the most depressing book I have ever read. It was difficult to plow through due to the sad themes. 2 stars just because I learned something about Korea and Japan during WWII. Ugh, I need a palate cleanser now.
