I have been thinking about this book since I finished it. This was one of my most anticipated reads last year that I didn't get to. I was so excited when it was voted the February read in the horror aficionado group. This should've been a book I loved. It has all the things I look for in a good horror novel: bleakness, murder, despair, vampires, creepy and complex characters, and did I say vampires already?!
