Hot! Hot! Hot! Play of Passion is such a perfect, fitting title for this!

Whew boy! Singh really turned up the heat in this latest installment with the Changeling/Changeling pairing (Yay...finally!) of SnowDancer wolf shifters Indigo and Drew. Drew Kincaid is the tracker for the SnowDancer wolf pack. His job is to track down any wolves who have gone over the edge and either bring them back, or remove the threat entirely. Lieutenant Indigo Riviere is one of the highest ranking, most experienced soldiers SnowDancer has, and she doesn't date younger or less dominant males. Drew is determined to get Indigo to break her rule and let him in, and he's prepared to play any games necessary to win her over.

I really loved going back into SnowDancer territory in this book. I LOVED Drew, he is such a sweet heart. Can't wait to get ahold of HAWKS books though..lol ...more

It is actually a good story with two interesting characters. Indigo and Andrew are both strong and likeable. Especially Andrew. Andrew knows what he wants and he does not hesitate to run after her. He is the epitome of an adorable younger man.

What makes me give 3.5 stars rather than 4 stars is the repetition of the story. It just feel the same for me. Two dominant changelings where the women are afraid of taking the final step of mating because of that. And in the end of the story one ...more

This book is more of a 3.5 stars for me. The conflict between the main couple was not as strong as we've seen in past books although it was refreshing to have a different type of hero - a playful, smart and sneaky guy who wouldn't resort to the Me Tarzan, You Jane behavior that we usually see from changelings.

I had fun with it. I liked Indigo and Drew quite a bit (which was an improvement over the last one for me), and I liked watching Drew thaw her out. Because of that, she had a bit of a Psy vibe, and it was nice to get back to that flavor in this series.

But as with the previous book, the overall plot was MUCH more exciting to me. I can't wait to see this Psy Council book come to a head, and in fact, I jumped straight into Kiss of Snow as soon as I finished, and am now about 100 pages in. ...more
