What Members Thought

I used to like the first Wallanders years ago.
Now they just drag on and scream of his low grade depression and midlife crisis. Add for this book a nonplausible story line.
And a constant irritation with audiobook version (NLS): the Swedish names are always mispronounced. “Naiborg” - pretty sure that is intended to be Nyborg, and definitely not what that sounds like. Or “Aireen” which probably was an Irene. Please quit raping the pronunciations of the names.

What can I say? This is the 9th Mankell (Wallander series) book I've read and I think it's as fantastic as the others!!I just love Inspector Kurt Wallander and those intricate plots!! A great read!
