This was just beautiful. Thank God I finally decided to pick this up and now I have another beloved book up in my favorite enemies to lovers books.

This was beautifully written and lyrical. I've been working my way through the Tales of the Arabian Nights and it's long. Three volumes, over 4 thousand pages each. Whew! Anyway, I truly appreciate the care the author took with this staying true to the tales instead of going for a Disney version. And I like the twist on a curse instead of an adulterous wife. The only thing that made me almost put this down was the age of the main characters. Kinda feels like it would have been richer with an old

This book was absolutley amazing. Each and every character in this book was beautifully written. The coalition of arab culture, strories within a story, aladdin references, hint of mystism, everything kept me from keeping the book down.
The chemistry between Shahrzad and Khalid was on fleek. Shahrzad was strong headed while Khalid's character was so elusive. My favorite part was, obviously, the writing and the story. I am very much anxious now to read the next book in the series. ...more
