Forty-four people tell fifty-one true stories in the 192-page anthology, One Touch from the Maker, Second Edition—thirty-six full-length stories and fifteen one-page stories.
The book, compiled by Pat W. Kirk, includes true articles of salvation, the writers walking away from terminal illness, and God’s provision for those near soup-kitchen poverty. Others tell of times when God said “no.” “The reader will find miracles here, along with what some might call coincidence. But these coincidence change lives,” Pat says. “We strove to stay away from sensationalism. The Writers’ Guide on the PuckettBrowne website says ‘Be Fanatically Factual.’ and I believe every story is true.”

As he slowly awoke, one paramedic asked him about his out-of body experience. As Steven listened, he realized his experience didn’t match the one described by the medic. Was the dark tunnel a “waiting room for judgment?”
Page 21: Larry enjoyed the beautiful Colorado day as he practiced his golf swing before work. But during one swing, the wet grass pulled him off his feet, landing him painfully on his back. Then, at the hospital, he and his wife listened in shock as the doctor told them that the ex-Marine faced life as a paraplegic.
