A lot of science fiction is very serious but it isn't always fun; The Other Log of Phileas Fogg manages to be both. And I'll admit that I've always been a sucker for the SF or fantasy "back story" of some famous tale or historical event, which this does--and with the help of a host of other famous literary characters.
