The Giver from a female perspective with a contrived love triangle thrown in for good measure.

The Cassandra Clare blurb on the book jacket is probably the most lovely and succinct comment possible.

Really loved this YA novel. It takes place in a futuristic, corrupt society. Very Fahrenheit 451ish.
