Maybe not the most exciting mystery out there, but Wallander is a book detective I can get behind. He isn't brilliant or flashy, he's just pretty good at his job. The book also provides an interesting glimpse into the changes and challenges facing modern Sweden, a theme that I hope will be continued in the rest of the series. ...more
