Ok, I admit I had many eye-rolling moments with this highly unlikely story. But in the end I have to say, it was just a nice pulpy, page-turner!

Travis Chase is out one year from spending a long time in prison, we found out why in bits throughout the story, to find himself backpacking in Alaska and discover a plane wreck. From there he discovers one strange thing after another, meets his soon to be girl and within 3 days finds himself tangled up in the most bizaare storyline I've read in a long, ...more

A real page turner. A Dan Brown-ish surprise thriller with aliens(?), time travel(?) and/or cross dimensional(?) evil-doers(?). A lot of weird stuff going on and it keeps coming at you in surprising ways.

There was a TV series on a few years ago called The Lost Room http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lost... with a similar premise. Weird artifacts are scattered around that do weird things.
