Susan (suekush) | 2 comments I hope you don't mind a fellow Rhode Islander making a pitch, but my new memoir has a RI angle. YOU SAVED ME, TOO: WHAT A HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR TAUGHT ME ABOUT LIVING, DYING, LOVING, FIGHTING AND SWEARING IN YIDDISH just came out this month. It has received starred reviews from Kirkus and Publisher's Weekly. Though it may sound like a strictly religious book, it's not. I swear in it. And it's mainly about finding a soulmate, learning to feel valued and doing the right thing even when it's uncomfortable. Plus, it's funny.
I would be so grateful if you'd take a look and spread the word if you like what you read. And come hear me read at Books on the Square on Nov. 9 - Yours, Susan Kushner Resnick

Susan (suekush) | 2 comments Oh Charly, don't be so tough on me. I'm just trying to connect with readers. Sadly, the media mostly reviews only the brand name authors, to the rest of us have to seek readers in other ways.

MichelleCH (lalatina) | 63 comments Agree with Charly. I am more forgiving if the author is an active member of the group first and has a public profile.
