January 3rd is Humiliation Day. Read a book you are embarrassed you have NOT read yet (like a well-loved classic or a book that 'everyone' has read) OR a book you are embarrassed you WANT to read (a guilty pleasure book or a book cover you would hide)

Could you read a book that had been on your TBR shelf for a while (ie nearly a year or over a year)?

I chose a book that I have always been curious about but have never read and, now that I am OLD, is a bit embarrassing. It is such a young person's book.

If it fits one of the "embarrassing" conditions in the task, then the book could come from your TBR

I would like to finally get around to reading The Alchemist, would this be acceptable for this catagory.

If that book fits one of the conditions of the task it would- this task is all about your personal interpretation

UMMMMMMMMMM......me too Dee LOLOL I have read a few but not nearly as many as I probably should have for my age LOLOLOLOL I am also terrible about keeping up with the new releases. I live in a very rural area with small libraries so some books are just hard to get without spending tons of money to buy them.

I plan on reading The Grapes of Wrath John Steinbeck the only book of his I have not read.
