We are changing up how the books of the month are picked – just a bit :)

To save time every month (going through those lists and making the polls takes a bit of it), we are going to start only having one book voted on by the group each month. The other two books will be mod picks. Tt, Alice, Tana, and I will take turns picking books that we think would be good as group reads. The series books will still be chosen by majority vote when it is time to pick a new series.

So…this thread is to suggest a book for February. It can be any genre, YA, or adult. One nomination per person please. If you list more than one book, only the first one listed will be taken into consideration.

If you agree with someone else's selection, just say I second this selection and then link the book name. Only books that have been seconded will go into the polls for the final vote.

If nominating a book in a series, only nominate the 1st book in the series unless we've already group read the 1st book.

Here is a list of all previous BotM books: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...

No problem :) I just did that because people were making long lists of books and it was too hard to keep track of them!

Thanks for voting everyone! Fire Country (Country Saga, #1) by David Estes is the winner with the most votes!

message 28: by Amanda (new)

Amanda | 23 comments Um, maybe I'm losing it, but I can't find Fire Country anywhere. Goodreads shows expected publication date as Feb. 1st, 2013, but it's not even listed clearly on Amazon, let alone one of my libraries. How did people already read this?

Tammy ~Witching Hour Reads~ (03tammy-lynn) | 1434 comments I thought it was just me, I tried the chapters website & it not even listed.

message 30: by MaryAnn (new)

MaryAnn (mapally) Yes, I've been looking as well.

Whoever knows where to find it, please share! :)

It comes out February 1. I'll post the links here when they are available.

The people who have already read it were either beta readers or got advanced copies.

message 32: by Zara's Retreat (new)

Zara's Retreat I'm glad that I'm not the only one having difficulty finding it as well. It's a book I REALLY want to read. I will be interested to know where I can get it from. Thanks.

message 33: by MaryAnn (new)

MaryAnn (mapally) I just found the link on Amazon today. Kindle is 2.99
