As far as I know, just getting 100% progress does not -and never has - automatically move a book to the Read shelf. It just updates your progress. It has to be manually moved to the Read shelf.
That doesn't move it automatically to the 'read' shelf- it never has. You have to move it yourself. That has never been like that although I can see why someone would think it might. You have to actually bring the bar down and switch OUT of 'currently-reading' and INTO 'read'.
