I dare you to try a book via audio

You can achieve this by ipod, cd's, computer or..your friend can read it to you out loud.

However you do it, just make sure you experience the book with your ears and NOT your eyes!

I don't have any experience with audiobooks at all...

Say I get one out from the library. What will be in the case? CD'S? Do I just put them into my laptop and something will come up?

Yes, you can play audiobooks off your computer.

Yes, you can put them in your laptop (or get ones you can enjoy in the car with the whole family! My girls LOVE audio books! We've enjoyed many! Harry Potter, City of Ember. Even some mysteries!)

my library also has files I can download and put on my Ipod. There are also some books that are free to download from audible.

Your library might even have tapes! LOL! I know mine does

any of these work!

Yay, me too! I always wanted to try audiobooks so i can listen to them in the car and at work when i am cleaning up and while i am laying in bed! haha I am going to get so much more "reading" done this way!

If your library uses Overdrive, you should be able to download it directly to your iPhone or iPod. If not, you should still be able to download any MP3 to either your iPhone or iPod, as both devices should support the MP3 format. I think you would have to download to your computer first, then move it to the iPhone or iPod.

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong.

That is wonderful, Lindsey. You just have to download the Overdrive App to your iPod or iPhone I think. Then you can sign into your library from that device and download your audiobook through Overdrive App on your device.

If you like audiobooks, you will love Overdrive. It is so easy to use.

I actually found as an audiobook on the internet today! Listening to it on my IPod and the story is okay but I love having the story being read to me! So cool!

There is 4 parts. I listened to part one and already listened to an hour of part 2. Have 11 minutes left and then have part 3 & 4!

I Love audiobooks! I listen to them all the time, while cleaning, driving, building puzzles, playing video games, at work in the morning before the store opens....

I listened to today. Very quick audiobook, under 4 hours in total. Great reader!
