Cry out in curses, that the addition of a book or author is placed at the bottom of the comment page, so that you must scroll down and copy and paste it where is want it?

Titles and authors can now be added into a post at the line of the cursor rather than at the last line.

That was one of my number one Goodreads annoyances, yay for this!

But now I can't add books at all. My screen goes grey and just sits there. I tried updating java and clearing my cache.

That'll come in very handy! Especially for things like adding a book to a challenge!

I wasn't alone in the glitch and GR's staff squirted some RAID around and killed that nasty bug. All is back to normal.

You may have noticed that all moderator posts were highlighted with an ugly brown tag. Since the moderators in this group participate as members, I took that can of RAID and killed that nasty brown tag in this group.

Hm, do you have a similar problem like the one that's solved now when writing comments?

If I go to the pages with all updates, and I want to comment on someone's update, I can write my message in a small box. However, if I notice a mistake (like a word missing) and I place my cursor at the spot where I want to type, it always puts that word after the last word I've written, instead of where it should be.

I haven't noticed that problem, Peggy. GR is really slow this morning so they probably have some glitches since they've added two new features.

This has been a problem for me ever since I started making comments in these drop-down boxes. I have always had to backspace and re-type to make corrections.

I also have it since the beginning, I was curious if it was just me :)

Yes I've experienced that fault too!
