Isabella Rueda I have already read this book but I decided to read it over after forgetting most of what happened over the time span of about a year and a half.
This time around, i want to get a deeper understanding of the book which is why I am starting this discussion.
I just want to talk about characters and what they say along with how they affect the story here to help any others that want to know about this book.

Isabella Rueda To start it off, I believe dialogue helps readers learn about the characters by hearing what they say and how they say it, or even just how they react.

Isabella Rueda I also believe that dialogue helps characters develop because you can get certain thoughts and voices added into the story with opinion and possibly conflict.
Dialogue can add conflict verbally because it could start a problem between certain characters.

Isabella Rueda Another thing that helps people learn about characters and their development is conflict. Whether internal or external, you can see how the characters are based on the way they react or resolve the issue. For example, you can tell that Eva Nine is a heroic and brave person that's excited to take on the world based on how she was always yearning to go outside of her sanctuary.

Isabella Rueda But also, when Eva finally gets out and searches for other people, she goes with near no hesitation because she just knows she needs to find another person like her. Finding another human is like her quest which she takes on gallantly. This is also an example of how conflict reveals character
