"Hey!" Christian exclaimed when she pushed his swing, sending him off course. But he laughed as he righted himself again and pushed off the ground. "You know my favourite flavour!" He shouted over the wind and quickly caught up to her swing. "Who's gonna tell who wins, smart one?" He said. Their swings were swinging in sync with each other.

"Oh you're so on," he laughed and pumped his legs harder and faster. He always won which meant she always was suppose to pay, but he usually ended up paying anyways. This time though, he wanted her to win. So, he slowed down a little, slightly so it wasn't noticeable. He liked seeing her happy more than anything.

Christian smiled sadly. "Hey, you were safe, right? I mean I know there was some alcohol but I know you well enough to know that you wouldn't just lose it. Especially without me there. I'm your body guard." He smiled smugly. "And I'm not bad at math it just takes a lot out of me." He rubbed his forward and licked his ice cream a little bit more, then bit into the side of the Coke.

Christian furrowed his brows when she spoke sarcastically. he obviously knew she was kidding, but it still made him feel uncomfortable. He didn't like to think about Asher doing that. He couldn't picture it either. He would definitely go the next party just to make sure she was okay. He did it all the time. Even if he didn't know anyone at the party. Asher was the only person he needed to know. "You're hilarious, Asher." He sighed sarcastically, then bit into his cone again.

Christian smiled and rested his head against hers. He would have draped an arm across her shoulders but he was holding onto his ice cream. "I won't I promise. But it was Amelia's party and I wasn't going to tell you not to go." He said and paused for a minute to finish off his cone, stuffing the remainder of the of cone into his mouth. He chewed it slowly and scrunched up his face when she called her that. "Mhm." He hummed.

Christian draped his arm across her shoulders again once they zoned back into reality. He rubbed her shoulder and bit his lip. His cheeks turned pink. "I dated Lizzie last year for like four months. It was great until she wanted me to stop talking to you." He shook his head at the memory. Of course Asher knew all about it. He'd never stop talking to her for a girl. Never. "I guess I am yeah," he shrugged, making sure to keep looking forward. "I don't really care though. Whatever happens happens." He shrugged again. He sounded nervous.

Christian shook his head. "Don't worry about her coming around. I don't want to see her again." He said. "I would never stay with a girl who wasn't cool with you being my best friend. I mean I understand why they'd want me to, but they trusted me it wouldn't be a problem." He said. "So, I'll just go solo for the time being." He shrugged. He blushed and looked at her bashfully when she kissed his cheek. "I guess so," he shrugged again

Christian smiled and hugged her back, resting his chin on the top of her head because she was that short. "No one will come between us I promise. He tried not to over think what she said about him being the most important. It gave him ideas, assumptions that he has already ruled at true. She's going on a date with another guy. She didn't like him like that. He held her like this for a few more minutes before pulled away, keeping an arm around her shoulders. "Let's get you home Princess," He started to walk again.

Christian scoffed. "Of course I want to come in," He said without any hesitation. "I'll make sure you leave the house looking absolutely stunning." He smiled genuinely at her. He led them to the left which was her street. "Who's home?" He asked.

Christian. "I'll help you look however you want." He said. Her raised his eyebrows and looked at her. "If you think he'll be that boring then why are you even going out with him?" He asked. He didn't quite understand why she was making herself go out with him when she didn't seem all that interested. Her house then came into view. "Who's home?" He asked

Christian grinned and pulled open the bag of chips excitedly. He didn't have a lot of junk food back at his house. It was because of his mother but obviously still loved her. "Yeah, I guess so," he sighed dramatically. "Yeah I will." He said seriously, leaning over and bumping her gently. He stuffed a few chips into his mouth. "Oh," he mumbled around and the mouthful. "Sarah wants her book back by the way."

Christian rolled his eyes and waited to swallow the mouthful of chips before speaking again. "Wow; you're life sounds so complicated and difficult. How do you possibly manage?" He said sarcastically, shaking his head. "I'll let her know. But no promises that she'll be happy about it even though she already read that book like five times." He laughed
