Pink | 5491 comments Hi and welcome to the challenge! Did you enjoy Sense and Sensibility? I only recently read all of Austen's main novels and enjoyed them, although this one wasn't my favourite.

Dee (pageatatime) Thank you Kathy and Andrea! I'm definitely excited to see what I end up reading, since I decided not to plan it all out ahead of time.

Hi Pink! I definitely would have to agree with you on that. I've only read Pride and Prejudice and S&S so far, but I'm assuming this one is probably not as well crafted as her others. P&P had such great pacing and a good flow to it compared to S&S, but I think it's one of the first ones she wrote so that makes sense. And the ending was pretty silly. It was still a pleasant and funny read, though. I'm glad I read it.

Thanks for asking!

siriusedward (elenaraphael) | 2005 comments I know.i did not like either this one or mansfield park much.and emma i did not read.p&p and persuasion are among my favorites.and thanks to this Bingo i dinally read northanger abbey and loved it.

Good luck to u dee

Dee (pageatatime) Yeah, I think I'll try Persuasion or Emma next. It seems like a lot of people consider those two of her best. I haven't seen any movie adaptations of S&S, so I think I'm gonna watch the 1995 vs. and see what they did with the story.

Happy reading to you, Elena!

Desertorum Maybe I´m little different since for me Persuasion and Emma are the least favorites. But it´s also little difficult to compare since I have read S&S and P&P so long ago (in my teens). And Persuasion I read last year and it´s now my least favorite. But haven´t still read Northanger Abbey or Mansfield Park. They are on my list for this year!

Pink | 5491 comments My order of most to least favourite Austen is, Persuasion, Northanger Abbey, pride and prejudice, sense and sensibility, Mansfield park, Emma. Although the first half of Mansfield park was probably my favourite of all, but the story let me down in the second half.
