Jim Townsend | 39 comments Good evening,

My shelf, which is public as my profile is public, has the same name as this topic title without the year. I haven't read any of these books, but they showed up on my Read shelf. I corrected the issue by putting them all on my to-read shelf.

Books read 3/12:

1. Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy Started September 10, 2017; finished September 22, 2017.
2. Common Sense by Thomas Paine
3. Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
4. The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky
5. Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens
6. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
7. Moby Dick or, The Whale by Herman Melville Read September 22-October 1, 2017.
8. Candide by Voltaire Started and finished 13 February 2017.
9. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
10. The Turn of the Screw by Henry James
11. The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins
12. The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame

Jim Townsend | 39 comments I read Voltaire's *Candide* in one day yesterday. Good book but marking chapters 24-27 as chapters 14-17, which may have been typos, was a bit disconcerting.

Which version of that book did you have? My own version was fine.

Hmmmm. That version reads fine for the chapter 24-27 numbering.
